What: The Met Office is the UK’s official weather service and Kirstine Dale oversees its rapidly growing AI function. She is charged with embedding AI in the Office’s core business – initially focusing on the use of AI in weather forecasting. She’s also a fellow at The Alan Turing Institute, the UK’s national institute for data science and artificial intelligence.
