GMR Marketing has global impact. We develop ingenious partnership strategies and activations providing brand fluency across cultures and borders. In 2023, we were in all corners of the world.

Starting off with an experience we activated on almost every continent. Once selected as the experience agency for FIFA’s Women’s and Men’s World Cup Trophy Tours in 2021, we took on the challenge of activating the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy Tour. Honorably, as it marked the first time the program was equitably deployed for the Women’s Tournament. The team and trophy traveled across 32 countries–including host nations Australia and New Zealand.

It spanned nearly 60 cities and covered over 100,000 miles (equivalent to circling the globe four times). The Tour’s campaign performed positively across all KPIs, setting the first legitimate and reported benchmark for future Tours, including more than 16,000 articles published globally and a total media reach of 923 million impressions.

Another example? GMR worked with Humana to activate a pickleball tournament on what might be considered the ultimate home turf in the United States—The National Mall in Washington, D.C. The build covered an impressive 44,000 sqft adjacent to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, marking just the third time pickleball courts were constructed on grass.

As the brand’s experiential AOR, we partnered with Humana and the Trust for the National Mall to build and execute National Mall of Pickleball in Fall 2023. With over 500 games played and 800 picklers across all abilities, we’re heading back to the National Mall in the Fall for a 2024 rematch.

In 2023, we released the GMR Brand Experience Index© (GBEI), cracking the code for predicting brand experience ROI. We’re laser-focused on successfully identifying and applying the hallmarks of memory creation to our work, so we can continue to create memorable experiences worldwide.
