Jaime Blanco is a sports management executive with a proven track record in leadership, strategy, and organizational transformation. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and an International Master in Business from CECO-ICEX. Before joining LALIGA, he developed his career in business environments combining operations and strategy, shaping a comprehensive leadership approach.
He joined LALIGA’s Office of the President in 2018 and played a pivotal role during the COVID-19 crisis in 2020, coordinating competition resources and supporting clubs through an unprecedented period. This experience gave him deep insight into the operational realities and improvement needs across Spanish football. Blanco later served as a key coordinator of LALIGA Impulso, a strategic partnership with CVC that has mobilized nearly €2 billion in investments to modernize Spanish football. In 2024, he was appointed Director of the newly created Club’s Office, an internal consultancy designed to accelerate club growth and professionalization across strategic areas such as infrastructure, branding, digital transformation, commercialization, and human resources.
He currently leads a multidisciplinary team of 25 experts and has overseen more than 130 transformative club projects. Under his leadership, LALIGA has built a new model of proximity, listening, and ongoing support — redefining how a league interacts with its member clubs. What distinguishes Jaime is his belief that no achievement is individual. His work ethic and ability to build trust have enabled him to lead one of the most significant structural evolutions in European sport. He often says that the Club’s Office would not exist without the talent, generosity, and commitment of the team around him. Thanks to this collaborative vision, LALIGA now stands as a global benchmark in modern club development and structural reinvestment.
