Jordan Silberman serves as President, Venues for Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE), overseeing Capital One Arena—home to the NBA’s Washington Wizards, NHL’s Washington Capitals, and Georgetown men’s basketball—and MSE’s portfolio of five premier venues throughout the Washington, D.C. area. As the youngest person ever to hold this role, Jordan’s rise through the organization reflects his deep operational expertise and innovative leadership.
Starting as a Staff Accountant in 2009, Jordan transitioned into arena operations, holding roles including Event Coordinator, Event Manager, and Director of Accessible Seating and Tournament Coordination. His success in these roles led to a series of promotions—VP of Operations, Assistant GM, General Manager—and ultimately his appointment to President, Venues in 2023.
In his current role, Jordan leads a multidisciplinary team with more than a dozen direct reports across departments such as IT, Security, Marketing, and Guest Relations, and more than 150 indirect reports. His leadership spans daily operations as well as long-term strategic initiatives that shape the future of MSE’s venues.
A defining achievement under his leadership is the $800 million+ transformation of Capital One Arena, a project developed in partnership with Mayor Bowser and the District of Columbia. This ambitious initiative will deliver cutting-edge upgrades, enhanced fan experiences, and cement the arena’s role as a vital economic anchor for downtown Washington, D.C. Jordan has played a central role in this multi-year planning process, from building out a development plan to scenario modeling to providing strategic counsel for MSE’s executive leadership.
Through a blend of operational excellence, forward-thinking strategy, and a commitment to elevating the guest experience, Jordan Silberman has become a key leader in shaping the future of sports and entertainment venues.
