Kerri Mattioli is the global Senior Vice President of Media for Sporting News Holdings and its flagship property, The Sporting News – one of the most storied brands in global sports media. With a legacy dating back to 1886 and a renewed digital-first focus that now reaches 50+ million fans worldwide, Kerri has been instrumental in driving this growth by leading cross-functional teams across commercial strategy, content, product and technology. She’s spearheaded the company’s pivot toward transactionally led recurring revenue models, evidenced by delivering accretive commercial relationships with partners like fubo, Sportradar, and StubHub. Kerri has further guided the full digital transformation of the core product platform, not only evolving the consumer experience for the lead property but laying the groundwork for publishing acquisitions and strategic joint ventures. Kerri’s vast global experience over 14 years, working with groups across six continents, leaves herself and the teams she leads well-positioned for a constantly evolving sports media landscape.
Prior to joining The Sporting News, Kerri held key commercial and account management roles at Perform Group, later DAZN, moving from the U.K. to New York to support DAZN’s U.S. advertising sales operations. She played a key role in forming early-stage partnerships, managing marquee relationships with the NBA and NFL, during a critical phase of market entry. During her tenue at Perform Media, she developed an expertise in programmatic advertising and technology which ultimately drove programmatic revenues to surpass direct sales.
Kerri holds a degree from Manchester Business School and completed The Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports program at Harvard Business School Executive Education.
