Matthew Fawcett is a vice president at IMG Tennis, the leading talent representation firm for the sport globally and part of WME Sports. He counts some of the best tennis players in the world as his clients, including American stars Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe who have experienced incredible runs of form over the past few years under Fawcett’s guidance.
Fawcett has secured deals for Fritz with leading global brands such as BOSS, Rolex, Dobel Tequila, Motorola, Heineken and Chipotle, among others. Fawcett spearheaded the deal between the American superstar and the fast casual Mexican Grill which was the company’s first-ever brand partnership in the sport of tennis.
Since beginning to work with Tiafoe, Fawcett has leveraged his emergence as one of the brightest young stars in tennis into partnerships with Cadillac, Evian, Barclays, Beats by Dre, CLIF Bar, Stella Artois and Grey Goose.
Following Tiafoe’s run to the 2024 US Open semis, Fawcett negotiated some of the biggest deals of his career. The highlight was an eight-figure deal with Lululemon for his on-court apparel that also includes financial support from the brand for the Frances Tiafoe Foundation, which Fawcett helped launch in partnership with the USTA Foundation.
