Daniel runs Relevent Sports Group, the premier soccer events and media business in North America and Asia that owns and operates the International Champions Cup, the summer’s largest club tournament featuring the world’s best teams in iconic venues.
In August 2018, he negotiated a first-of-its-kind 20-year partnership with LaLiga, an equal joint venture to promote soccer in the US and Canada. The deal includes media rights, sponsorship rights, licensing and merchandising rights, and grassroots activities.
As part of the agreement, LaLiga has plans to bring a regular season club match to the US, the first to be played outside of Europe, which is one of the key topics he’ll be discussing on-stage during the session.
