Will will be joining us as part of a session examining how to engage younger and younger audiences and the best way to do it – a great non-sport perspective on a hugely relevant challenge for rights holders, broadcasters and the sports industry in general.
Will has spent the last 20 years in the kid’s media space having held senior roles at Disney, Hit Entertainment, Mattel, NBC Universal & DreamWorks. In April 2019, Will moved to Sony Music to set up Magic Star, which is the Global Kids & Family Entertainment Division at The Orchard, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, where he works on music & strategy for My Little Pony, Peppa Pig, Bluey, Baby Shark, Hey Duggee, Bratz, Transformers and many more.
Magic Star is the Global Division of children’s and family entertainment at The Orchard. Launched in October 2019 as part of Sony Music Entertainment UK, Magic Star is dedicated to children’s audio and audio-visual content from pop music and spoken word to live events for the whole family.
