First sporting memory and/or favourite sporting event attended? 

Such a cliché but my first sporting memory is watching England win the Rugby World Cup in 2003. I remember we were gathered as a family in our living room, mum, dad, brother and sister and watching that kick on the TV. My mum was nervously cleaning the room as she couldn’t watch it and remember just being caught up by the atmosphere. We then went as a family to Twickenham to celebrate – Rugby still is and will forever be my favourite sport!

Best advice you’ve been given? 

Be authentic in everything you do, because if you aren’t being true to yourself you’ll tire yourself out trying to be something your not. This for me is especially true in a leadership role, how can you expect your team to be themselves and bring their whole self to work if you don’t in turn.

Top tip for networking and building relationships? 

My advice would be really similar, be authentic when building relationships. You’ll click better with those around you because you know you were your true self with them. Not every relationship has to work out either, its okay to let them run their course and find new ones.
