The USL Super League are one of two top-flight women’s football leagues in the US (with the other being the NWSL), set to launch it’s inaugural season later this year, just before Leaders Week
Granted Division I status by U.S. Soccer earlier this year, this puts the USL Super League (and domestic women’s football in the States) in the unique position of having two different top divisions. Moreover, the league’s schedule will run from autumn to summer, as is the case with European leagues, but not the case for the other US leagues, which run spring to autumn
