How Leaders will continue to connect the global sports industry during these uncertain times
Hello, everyone, Jimmy Worrall here from Leaders.
First of all, I hope you, your family, friends and colleagues are safe and well during this unprecedented time.
There has never been a time in the history of sport where the industry needs to draw on its unique community spirit and collective strength, in order to pull through this crisis. This is a time for leaders in sport to step up and, having spoken to many of you, I know that is happening.
At Leaders we want to play our part. The pandemic might have temporarily changed the normal course of business for us, but it hasn’t changed our resolve to make a difference to the industry we love.
That is why we are changing the format of our forthcoming Leaders Week New York. Instead of the planned in person event where you travel to us, we are now bringing the event direct to you.
It will be an expanded multimedia event like never before, available to everyone all over the world, with the biggest names, the smartest stories and, of course, the chance to network with your peers globally.
I hope you are able to join us as we come together to move the industry forward during this turbulent time. Please click here to register your interest we will e-mail details of the programme a bit nearer the time.
Outside of any planned events we are moving online, we’ll be ramping up our content across the board with more podcasts per week, more special reports, more in depth digests and more news on how the sports industry is tackling the challenge. We’ll also be connecting you with your peers with zoom calls, virtual roundtable meetings and WhatsApp groups. The aim is to share and connect like never before.
Stay tuned for more information on all the above and remember there will never be a time the world will need sport more, than when we are through it. So, we all need to prepare for that moment.
On behalf of the whole Leaders team, my sincere best wishes to you all and I look forward to staying connected until such time as we can meet again in person.
Jimmy
