Leaders, the largest premium conference and publishing business in sport which connects senior sports executives worldwide, has launched the second edition of Leaders Week London, a week-long series of thought leadership events for the sports, technology and entertainment industries.
Following the event inauguration in 2017, Leaders Week London is set to return on 8 – 11 October 2018. The event will mark the 11th anniversary of The Leaders Sport Business Summit on 10 – 11 October at Chelsea FC, play host to the new Leaders Sports Awards at the Natural History Museum on Tuesday 9 October and will also see the return of a range of content rich forums hosted all week and all over London on specialist areas identified by the industry. The week will attract over 3000 delegates from over 55 sports and 70 countries to create the largest gathering of senior executives in sport, technology and entertainment industries.
“The XX Series Think Tank”, kicks off the week’s proceedings on Monday 8 October and will explore the current opportunities and challenges in the promotion, marketing and commercial sponsorship of the women’s game; culminated by an evening celebrating women’s sport on the red carpet.
Tuesday will see “The Ultimate Fan Experience” identify best practice in building engagement from around the world and how to use data to truly understand your fans. That evening, the new “Leaders Sports Awards”, expanding on the Leaders Under 40 Awards, will recognise the most innovative companies and executives across the globe who are shaping the sport business industry today at the iconic Natural History Museum.
The flagship Leaders Sport Business Summit at Chelsea FC, the most prestigious, content rich event in the sport business calendar, will return on the Wednesday and the Thursday of the week, with 1800 director level executives from all over the world attending. This year’s Sport Business Summit will include more networking opportunities, more brands in attendance as well as a pool of impressive speakers from clubs, broadcasters and federations on stage.
Leaders Week London 2018 is set to bring the who’s who of the sports, technology and entertainment industry together where key trends are analysed, best practise shared, and key business relationships forged.
“After incredible feedback from the first ever Leaders Week last year, we’re excited to host another international week of sport and innovation in London in 2018. With content rich forums on broadcasting and the fan experience, a new global awards show incorporating the Leaders Under 40 Awards, and the flagship Leaders Sport Business Summit, Leaders Week will engage 3000 senior business executives from all corners of the world.“
