NewsAspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has agreed a multiyear partnership with Leaders to become a Main Partner of The Sport Business Summit, held in New York, Beijing and London.
AZF is the hub for international sports events and elite training camps as it hosts some of the unparalleled sport training, research and education facilities in the world. These include the Khalifa International Stadium, a 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™ host venue, and the Aspire Dome, the largest multi-purpose dome of its kind in the world. Together with its member organisations, AZF seeks to develop a world-class sporting environment, enhance sports performance and contribute to producing elite athletes with a comprehensive academic, athletic and mental education, so they can compete in various local and global competitions. AZF also contributes to the growth and development of the sports economy in Qatar and the region.
Mr. Mohammed Khalifa Al-Suwaidi, Chief Executive Officer of AZF, commented in a meeting with Leaders senior management: “This new partnership explores further cooperation opportunities for both sides as AZF is becoming an official partner and main sponsor for The Sport Business Summit. This comes in line with our vision in becoming the reference in sports excellence world-wide by 2020 and our strategic objectives to engage more with the international sports community.”
James Worrall, Founder and CEO, Leaders commented: “We’re excited to partner with AZF over the next three years and help drive awareness for this world class facility. As an organisation we are focused on championing excellence in the business of sport and that ethos certainly fits AZF’s vision.
