VideosWebber was appointed by the FAW in June 2020 to help ensure that equality, diversity and inclusion were a mainstream in all of the body’s activities, having previously worked for ‘Show Racism the Red Card’.
During his tenure at FAW so far, Webber has been instrumental in moving the needle forward with the creation of the ‘Rainbow Wall’ – the new fans’ group created for Wales’ LGBTQ+ fans and more recently, led the governing body’s efforts to sign the Muslim Athlete Charter which aims to help players, staff, and spectators from Muslim backgrounds balance faith and sport.
We managed to hear a glimpse of that work, Jason’s personal passion and the initiatives the governing body are currently implementing, behind the scenes at Leaders Week London 2021.
