Allyship is a topic that’s repeatedly surfaced as a key contributor to a more inclusive sports industry and so to mark and celebrate International Women’s Day in 2021, Leaders facilitated a series of discussions, shared best practice and thoughtful insights on allyship, with tangible actions highlighted to become a better ally for women in sport.
Harlequins‘ Fan Experience Manager James Swanson, Octagon UK‘s New Business & Marketing Manager Lauren Estwick and Former Paralympic Swimmer Liz Johnson, took part in that conversation with Leaders Managing Director Laura McQueen, to discuss the intricacies of allyship, the steps you can take to become a better ally and the ways you can effectively challenge others.
On the conversational agenda:
This session was broadcast on International Women’s Day 2021 as a part of the Leaders Meet: Diversity Series, in partnership with Facebook.
