WWE’s Chief Brand Officer on the evolution of the brand, the creation of the WWE Network and the organisation’s ‘content ecosystem’.

As Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon is responsible for working with WWE’s business units to support key growth initiatives and represents WWE as its global brand ambassador.

Prior to being named Chief Brand Officer, McMahon was Executive Vice President, Creative and was responsible for overseeing the digital and creative departments, as well as the creative development of all WWE television, pay-per-view programming, print, digital and social media content.  She has also managed WWE’s talent relations, talent brand management and live events businesses. In 2016, Adweek also included McMahon in its inaugural list of the ‘Most Powerful Women in Sports’.

In this short interview, recorded backstage at Leaders Week, London, 2017, McMahon discusses the milestone moments in the development of the WWE brand, including the creation of the WWE Network subscription service and the development of a ‘content ecosystem’ across various platforms. And finally, she elaborates on where the WWE brand is strongest and outlines key target territories.
