As Chief Marketing Officer & Director of Brand at FC Barcelona, Guillem Graell is responsible for leading the global growth of the Barça brand across the club’s strategic target markets. Graell leads a team of more than 100 people across the functions of marketing, communications, digital content, brand experience, and protocol and institutional relationships.

In this short interview, recorded backstage at the Sport Business Summit in New York in May 2018, Graell explains what the Barça brand means to him, discusses how the club celebrates its heritage while trying to remain at the cutting edge of technology and innovation, and gives an insight into what the stadium upgrades will mean for fans.
